Your mission

As a Technical Assistant (TA) (m/f/d) based in Martinsried, you will play a key role in advancing our proteomics workflows by supporting both innovation and research activities. Starting as soon as possible, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge LC-MS-based solutions, ensuring high-quality experimental execution and reliable results. Through your hands-on expertise and collaborative mindset, you will help drive scientific progress and strengthen our laboratory operations in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the innovation pipeline within the proteomic consumables development team
  • Assist LC-MS measurements in the LC-MS workflow research team
  • Independently plan, execute, document, and evaluate laboratory experiments
  • Prepare proteomic samples and perform measurements on LC-MS systems
  • Handle potentially infectious human or animal samples (e.g., plasma, serum, tissue) under biosafety level 1 conditions (with potential progression to level 2)
  • Train colleagues on newly developed workflows
  • Take ownership of routine laboratory tasks, including inventory management and equipment care
  • Maintain and service LC-MS systems
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality management (QM) guidelines

Your profile

  • M.Sc. in a scientific field or at least 2 years of experience as a technical assistant
  • Hands-on experience in a biochemical wet lab; background in protein biochemistry is a strong advantage
  • Experience with HPLC and/or MS analysis is a plus
  • Familiarity with handling and/or maintaining LC-MS instruments is advantageous
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
  • Confident user of MS Office
  • Strong scientific curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
  • Independent, structured, and detail-oriented working style
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Team player with clear and reliable communication skills
